Ashanti NPP chair-hopeful lauds national executives for successful conference in Kumasi

Mr. Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, an aspirant of the Ashanti Regional chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has praised the National Executive of the party for the successful conduct of the Annual National Delegates Conference in Kumasi over the weekend.

He explained that the event was, by all standards, successful, and congratulated the National Executives and all the delegates in general.

Odeneho, who was overwhelmed by enthusiastic supporters of his chairmanship bid, said the NPP was ready to retain power in 2024.

He said by the nature of the event, in the face of the accompanying directives, his supporters had no option than to seek audience with him and encourage him in his bid. “I could not believe it when I was mobbed by supporters and delegates wanting to have a phototherapy with me amid chants of calls for change,” he disclosed.

He noted that this particular reception at Heroes Park had proven that the delegates were dying for a change through the ballot box.

Odeneho, alias Coka, said he was optimistic that victory was guaranteed from the massive support he enjoyed at the Congress, even though it was on the quiet.
