UniBank Ghana Limited, one of the fastest growing financial institutions in the country, last Friday, feted customers of the bank in the Ashanti Region, when it said thank-you to them.
The bank commended its customers for their loyal support, which had enabled it make giant strides in the banking industry in Ghana.
Ammishaddai Owusu-Amoah, Managing Director (MD) of the bank, expressed appreciation to the clients for their support, which he said, had helped the bank to be recognised as the second most growing bank in Ghana in 2010, by the Ghana Club 100 Award.
The CEO said the company’s position as the second fastest growing company in Ghana for 2009, would only be complete, if the businesses of customers grow alongside.
“We want to see Ghanaians grow their business, and we will continue to commit ourselves and have absolute commitment to ensure further growth of uniBank, as well as of small and medium scale enterprises in Ghana,” said Mr. Owusu-Amoah.
He noted that his outfit would be commemorating its 10th Anniversary next year, with the opening of seven additional branch networks across the country.
The additional branches will be in Tamale, Techiman, Sunyani, Kumasi (2), Tarkwa and Axim.
The strategy, according to him, was to be present in the northern sector of the country, focusing on the farming, mining, and oil sectors of the economy.
UniBank, a wholly-owned indigenous bank, currently, has 13 branches in the Greater Accra Region where it is located in Accra, Tema and Ashaiman, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region and Takoradi in the Western Region.
