The Tamale Metropolis is now hosting top businesses and organisations from all the ten regions of Ghana for this year’s Tamale Business and Investment Fair.

The weeklong colourful business fair, organised by the Business and Financial Times newspaper, offers the opportunities for businesses and organisations to showcase or sell their products and services to the thousands of clients who would be trooping to the new 20,000-capacity Tamale Sports Stadium.

The 2010 Tamale Business and Investment Fair is proudly supported by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and a host of others, including the Ghana Industrial Promotion Council (GIPC), National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI), Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), USAID, and the Ghana Shippers Authority.

The Fair was opened by the General Manager of the Business and Financial Times, Mr. Abdulai Salifu, and the Mayor of Tamale, Alhaji Abdulai Haruna Friday.

Other organisations like the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Ghana Ports, Rural Enterprises Project, Ghana Commercial Bank, Zenith Bank, and other local artistes.

A similar Fair was organised by the Business and Financial Times last year, but this year’s seems to have seen much more improvement.
