The award, which is given to the best student in Broadcast Journalism, Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations, went to Miss Emefa Abla Adjei. For her prize, Miss Adjei received a laptop, a certificate, and some books.
Obviously overjoyed, Miss Adjei expressed her excitement at receiving the award. “It has not been an easy journey, but by the grace of God, I’m here,” Miss Adjei said.
She thanked Stanbic Bank for the gesture, and urged it to keep supporting education in Ghana, since such endeavours motivated students to perform very well.
“I would like to encourage the continuing students to put in their best, so they can pick up this award next year,” Miss Adjei said in an interview after the ceremony.
This year’s congregation saw 130 students graduating, having successfully completed a two-year Diploma Programme in Communication Studies.
