PENTEST slated for 31st August

The Executive Council of the Church of Pentecost, in collaboration with the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), has slated the maiden Pentecost International Trade Exhibition (PENTEX) for 31st August, 2012.
The exhibition will be organised on the theme:  “Accelerating the Growth of Entrepreneurship and Industry for Sustainable Development” in Accra.
The 10-day exhibition is expected to assemble small, medium, large, local and international businesses together. This will create the enabling environment to bring to light new and up-and-coming business oriented people to socialise and network to boost the entrepreneurial confidence in the businessmen and women across the country and beyond.
The Planning Committee of PENTEX 2012 in a statement said: “The exhibition shall also be interspersed with seminars before and during the event where experts would be expected to highlight some areas on the emerging oil and gas industry in Ghana, while offering investment guiding principles and modalities for raising capital for all variety of businesses.”
The General Secretary GPCC, Apostle S.Y Antwi, added that the leadership of the church saw the wisdom in the proposal to organize a Trade and Business Exhibition and thus sanctioned the move with alacrity, because, it conforms to the vision of the church which enjoins them to seek not only spiritual, but economic and social growth of all and sundry.
Apart from the above Exhibition, the church has since time immemorial also engaged herself in several development jurisdictions including, educational institutions, health facilities, as well as added social interventions which eventual go to assist the poor, needy and destitute in our society, he explained.
