Nana Akufo-Addo’s visit stirs Ho Poly community

The Ho Polytechnic campus is said to be stirring with expectation on the eve of the visit of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Samuel Teye Akor, local Chapter Chairman of NPP Tertiary Education Students’ Confederacy (TESCON) told Ghana News Agency that NPP enthusiasts and others are itching to hear Nana speak about his flagship free Senior High School policy.

He said the atmosphere is that of intriguing expectation, as the polemics on the policy appeared skewing towards the views of the NPP.

Mr Akor said the Chapter was growing rapidly in numbers and its activities were establishing the NPP in the minds of people in the community.

Nana is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of Asogli, before addressing the colloquium and then move to Dzodze in the Ketu-North District to address a rally. – GNA
