Nana Akua Addo: ‘Hot Fork’ is my worst movie

One of the promising  actresses in Ghana,   Nana Akua Addo, who has risen through the ranks of being a TV hostess, beauty queen and now a movie actress, has made a revealing statement about Socrates Safo’s ‘Hot Fork’ movie.
At the MovinPick hotel in Accra, she stated that the movie is the worst she ever witnessed as an actress.
Ms. Addo said as an actress certain parts of my body is exclusively and important to me, and directors and producers of movies in the country need to respect actresses for that, and seek their consent before releasing their movies with wholesome pictures to the public.
The actress recently celebrated her birthday and lived her teen life in Germany with her family. She was the second runner-up during Miss Malaika 2003. She left for the country of her birth, Germany, to continue her education.
As fate could have it she was crowned Miss Ghana-Germany in 2005, which automatically earned her a modeling contract with Eddy Baower Modelling Agency for eight months.
This contract was part of the winning package for the beauty queen and as she puts it; “the staff of Eddy Baower were very happy when I was crowned because they saw what was in me and wanted to work with me”.
Nana Akua who speaks fluent German, Twi and a bit of Ga had to come back to Ghana because she feels her spirit, soul and body is in Ghana.
