The Musicians Union of Ghana, on behalf of all Musicians and the other players in the Creative Arts sector, wish to commend the President for fulfilling his promise of elevating the status of governance of the Creative Arts in Ghana. This is indeed a very welcome, positive and bold development.

We also wish to commend the President on his choice of a youthful, hardworking and humble Minister to propel the new Ministry into a new era of glory for the service of all hardworking artistes in Ghana.
It is our hope that an equally dynamic Deputy Minister who is very conversant, knowledgeable and well respected in the sector will be appointed to complement the Minister for maximum impact.

We at the Musicians Union of Ghana look forward to working very closely with the new Minister and his team to achieve the desired results for the creative industries and for Ghana as a whole.
