THE Member of Parliament (MP) for the Prestea Hunni-Valley constituency, Mr. Francis Adu Kwesi Blay, has donated assorted exercise books to three Senior High schools and a Basic school in his constituency.

The cost of the materials was estimated at GH¢7,500 with the MP personally handing over the materials to the heads of the schools.

The three beneficiaries are the Hunni-Valley (HuniVass), St. Augustine, and Tarkwa Senior High schools. The books have the picture of the MP, and students of the Tarkwa Senior High School embossed on them.

This was when the students of the Tarkwa Senior High School visited Parliament and took the picture with Prestea Hunni-Valley legislator.

Presenting the second batch of the exercise books and building materials to the Hunni-Valley Senior High School, Kwesi Blay told the students that it had been his dream to assist in raising the educational level of the Wassaman people.

As a result, he would do whatever he could as a legislator, to champion this agenda.

But what the students, according to the MP, needed to do, to reciprocate the gesture, was also to take their studies serious.

The Headmaster of HuniVass, Mr. Thomas Tandoh, thanked the MP for the his donation, and wish him well in his political career.
