… In MTN Soccer Academy W/A
With Kofi O. Aduonum
Fans of Togolese teammate Paul Yemeh, perhaps witnessed one of their most disappointing moments, as the eviction rod hit their favourite player in the MTN Soccer Academy West Africa, during last Sunday’s eviction show.
The 17 year old midfielder thus becomes the sixth player to be evicted from the reality show, further reducing the number of teammates left in the competition to eight.
In a short interview after his eviction, Yemeh recounted his experiences in the competition and said, “It was one of my most adventurous experience ever.”
He also noted that the soccer reality show had brought tremendous improvement to bear on his general soccer fitness, and was confident that he would be able to further build on the valuable lessons he had acquired to help him realise his dream of becoming one of the world’s most celebrated footballers.
With two more teammates to be evicted before the grand finale, tension is expected to rise in the competition, as the remaining eight teammates will obviously do whatever they can to secure a place in the finals.
Patrons of the show can indeed, look forward to another memorable night this Sunday at the Soccer Academy House.
