Bosome-Freho MP supports community-initiated projects

Madam Joyce Adwoa Akoh Dei, Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosome-Freho Constituency in the Ashanti Region, has donated about 1,200 bags of cement and 45 packets of roofing sheets for distribution to 60 communities in the constituency.

The gesture, estimated to cost GH¢77,000, is to enable the communities to complete projects initiated by the residents.

According to her, the gesture was in fulfillment of the request made to her by the communities to assist them complete their self-initiated projects during a familiarisation tour to get first-hand information about the pressing challenges of the constituents.

She pledged to sustain the gesture to ensure that her constituents have their fair share of the national cake.

The MP commended the chiefs (nananom) and stakeholders in the various communities for their commitment to development, and entreated them to always embrace and rekindle the spirit of communal labour to complement efforts of the government towards development.

Mr. Harun Agyare Rockson and Mr. Boamah Polling Station B and Unit Committee Chairmen of Kusiase respectively, expressed their profound gratitude to the MP for the kind gesture to improve their living standards
