Mr. Williams Asante Bediako, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie South in the Ashanti Region, has commissioned and handed over offices and a bungalow for the District Health Directorate to accommodate the District Health Director.
The infrastructure was built by the Assembly towards improving healthcare delivery in the newly-created district.
The DCE also used the occasion to present five motorbikes to the management and staff of the directorate to enhance the supervision of daily operations.
Mr. Asante Bediako commended the Adubiahene and his elders for their co-operation and commitment in support of the Assembly on its developmental agenda since the Amansie South District was created.
According to him, the Assembly is committed to improving the lot of the constituents in improved healthcare delivery as a priority.
The DCE also entreated the health workers to be up and doing by cultivating customer care attitude and work wholeheartedly once they accept to be posted to the district, and expressed optimism that very soon the Manso Adubia Health Centre would be upgraded to district hospital status.
Nana Adusei Kwaada Ampem, Gyasehene to Manso Adubia, commended the DCE, management, staff and the assembly and its members for their commitment to give the area a facelift.
He assured them of the commitment and support of Nananom (chiefs) to the development of the district through collaboration with the Assembly.
Mr. Akuoko Kwarteng, Presiding Member of the Assembly, commended the members for their continuous co-operation with management in delivering their developmental agenda to help improve the living standards of the residents.
