Members of the Zone Three Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Kumasi have donated foodstuffs and items worth GH¢6,000 to inmates of the Charity Sisters Home at Mbrom as part of the Easter celebrations.

The donation by the group, comprising local members drawn from New Tafo, Old Tafo, Suame, Pankrono, Maakro, Breman, Kronum, Afrancho, Nkwantwema and Pankrono Estate, included bags of rice, boxes of Milo, milk, four crates of eggs, cartons of soft drinks, second hand clothes, toiletries, washing powder, baby diapers, and a box of key soap.

Mr. Frederick Obeng, Zonal Coordinator, deemed it appropriate to extend a helping to the needy during festive occasions, and entreated other religious bodies, philanthropists, and well meaning Ghanaians to support the less privileged in society.

Madam Barbrah Boateng, Caretaker of the home, expressed her profound gratitude to the members who contributed to the donation.

She described the support as a great relief to the managers of the home, and appealed to other corporate organisations to emulate the shining example of Zone Three Catholic Charismatic Renewal group to maintain the less privileged in society.
