The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Community Hospital Group, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has donated 300 banquet chairs, valued at GH¢32,000, to the Akim Oda Central Assembly of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI).
This was in fulfillment of a pledge he made to the church a couple of months ago, when the Central Assembly’s building was dedicated, as well as to celebrate Christians worldwide during this year’s Easter festival.
Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, a former employee of Peace FM, one of the radio stations of the Despite Group, did not only donate the items, but fellowshipped in the church with joy to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Churches in Akim Oda in the Eastern Region of Ghana and its environs were not left out in this joyous celebration, where the philanthropist CEO took the opportunity to present cheques, which contained valuable amounts of money, to some churches in Akim Oda municipality.
During the presentation of the chairs at a church service on resurrection Sunday, Mr. Akwasi Acquah said he couldn’t find any better moment to redeem his pledge to the church, than the period when Christ sacrificed his life for humanity.
He said our promises to God Almighty and mankind must be fulfilled without any hesitations, “for we must always go by our promises without considering any factors,” adding that once we pledge to offer something to someone, we should be able to fulfill it in order to receive more blessings from God.
He further advised politicians to fulfill their promises to God and mankind, and also help people without considering any political factors, as this has been the main secret why God keeps on blessing him.
