Rev Owusu Bempah ‘raps’ National Chief Imam

chronicle January 11, 2019

The Founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Reverend Owusu Bempah, has described the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuru Sharubutu as a father whose love and interventions simmer down anger.

Reverend Bempah showered the accolades on Sheik Usman Nuru Sharubutu, when he called on him at his residence to beg for forgiveness of a death prophecy about the Ghana Muslim leader.

The Reverend gave the prophecy at his December 31, 2018, Vigil Service, and former President Kufuor was also mentioned in the tragic prophecy, and Reverend Bempah said the death prophecies could be remedied with fervent prayers, because the prophecies were provisional.

The death prophecy by Reverend Owusu Bempah, which he said was heavenly sanctioned, received a wild resentment by some Moslem youth who ran amok at some properties at the church of the former.

In order to smoke the peace pipe, Reverend Owusu Bempah visited the National Chief Imam at his residence, where he dropped all charges against the suspects and pleaded with police to release them, and as well, discontinue the investigation.

He added that Glorious Word and Power Ministry would bear the cost of repairs of all that were destroyed by the angry Moslem youth.

Rev Owusu Bempah was accompanied by some of his church elders under a heavy joint military and police security.

The National Chief Imam, on his part, advised Ghanaians to seek peace, love and forgiveness at all times.

He charged Ghanaians to jealously guard the symbolic and enviable religious tolerance that has continued to breed peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims.
