The block was funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) at a cost of GH¢430,016,95.

The contract was awarded to Messrs Salia Razak Agency in 2016, and expected to be completed in June 2017. However, it was completed on 5th December 2018, and handed over by the contractor to the Assembly and the MCE, who, in turn, handed it over to the school.

The project is to enable the school have enough classrooms to introduce new courses.

Mrs Kumi Richardson appealed to the authorities to maintain the block and use it to enhance teaching and learning in the school.

Madam Aisha Sena-Iddrisu, on behalf of the school, expressed their gratitude to the MCE and the Assembly, and promised that they would put the facility to good use and maintain it.

The students could not hide their joy for the project and heaped praises on the MCE.
