The Edusei Foundation has donated provisions and other food items made up of eight maxi bags of rice, ten packs of Kalypo, five gallons of cooking oil, boxes of biscuits, tomato puree, boxes of key soap, and six cartons of milk to the Kumasi Children’s Home.
The visit is the third to the home, having previously built a residential clinic for the government facility.
Dr. Kwame Edusie-Bawauh, a former Ghana Ambassador to the United States of America, a physician, business executive and philanthropist who concerns himself with youth development, women and children empowerment, performed the presentation.
Accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Evangeline Bawuah-Edusei, family members and staff of the Edusei Foundation, the renowned philanthropist appealed to the authorities of the home to take good care of the inmates.
Madam Mabel Ampomah, in charge of the Kumasi Children’s Home, who received the items on behalf of the Department of Social Welfare and management of the home, thanked Edusei Foundation for the support to the home over the past five years.
