botchway October 11, 2018

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Techimam North, Mr. Peter Mensah, has presented police items to the 81 Community Police Personnel in the area, and urged them to maintain good personal hygiene.

There are currently 15,000 community police personnel in the Brong-Ahafo Region.

Presenting the items, which included uniforms, belts, caps as well as boots, the DCE commended the personnel and entreated them to work harder to enhance security of the district.

He also urged them to put to good use all the skills they acquired during training in their daily routines.

The DCE said if the personnel put in their best, the crime rate in the district will reduce by the end of 2020.

He appealed to them not manhandle ‘stubborn’ suspects in the line of duty, and assured them that the government will endeavour to see to their welfare.

Meanwhile, the Techiman North District Youth Employment Agency Coordinator, Mr. Isaac Boateng, has stressed that the government was ready to reduce unemployment rate in the country, and, therefore, urged the unemployed youth to exercise restraint.
