Mr. Benito Owusu Bio, Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Nwabiagya North in the Ashanti Region, in partnership with George Ampofo, a native of Pasoro, has commissioned a furnished modern 20-seater water closet toilet facility for the Pasoro community.
He said the facility would help enhance sanitation and cleanliness towards an improved and healthy atmosphere for the people.
The Minister disclosed that he was making efforts to improve the road network in the area, as well as collaborate with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to provide them with a transformer to extend the national grid to newly-developed areas in the community and nearby areas.
Owusu Bio, who is also the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources,
indicated that the government was poised to bring development to all parts of the country to ensure that every community gets its fair share of the national cake.
The MP entreated the residents to always ensure that the facility is kept clean, and cultivate the maintenance culture for it to serve the intended purpose.
He commended Mr. George Ampofo, nananom (chiefs), and the Pasoro Youth for Development Association for making the project possible.
Mr. George Ampofo also tasked the residents to rekindle the attitude of communal labour and initiate projects to ensure total development in the community.
