The M.A. Bediako Adventist Preparatory School (MABAPS) in Kumasi has held its 10th Graduation ceremony.

Two hundred and twenty pupils passed out at last Thursday’s graduation ceremony, with Master Kwaku Kwakye of Class 6A emerging the Overall Best Student, having annexed the Best Student awards in English, Mathematics and Science.

Ms Beatrice Selassie of Class 6B grabbed the Best Student in French award, with Edna Aba (Class 6B) and Kezia (Class 6C) jointly picking the Best Student in Reading prize.

The Headteacher of the school, Mr. Charles A. Boahen, congratulated the award winners and urged them to keep the standard while they climb up the educational ladder.

He asked the entire student body to be good ambassadors of the school and study hard during the holidays, while they prepare for the next stage (Junior High School) of their education.

Mr. Boahen thanked parents for supporting their wards with their educational needs throughout the period they (wards) had been in the school, making it easy for them to achieve their goal of completing Basic Stage Six.

The Headteacher also commended the Graduation Committee, headed by Madam Rachael Opoku Agyemang, for a well-planned ceremony.
