As part of activities making this year’s Mother’s Day celebration, Grace Homeopathic Clinic, an alternative medical centre, in collaboration with Hopeful Consult, has organised a free medical screening exercise for members of the Bethel Presby Church, particularly, women.
Even though, the programme was for women some men took advantage of the occasion to check their normal and diabetic blood sugar ranges.
Other screenings included high blood pressure and hepatitis B among others, which was heavily attended.
Prior to the screening, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Koforidua branch of the clinic, Ms Barbara Konadu, said, her outfit stands to bring homeopathy treatment within the reach of people.
She stressed that Grace Homeopathic Clinic provides quality and high-standard treatment to its patients, enabling them to improve and maintain their health, with regard to post-treatment concerns.
Thus, she entreated members of the Bethel Presby Church to, at least, have medical screening every six months, since it would go a long way for the early detection of any sickness.
On his part, Isaac Tetteh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Hopeful Consult said: “We must make good use of the time we have in order to make a difference in our society and wherever we find ourselves, else, time will change things for us in a very short time.
“When this happens, it is very difficult to go back and change things to be the way we wanted them to be.”
