Asante Kotoko former striker Sadick Adams has opened talks with regional rivals Ashanti Gold regarding a switch in the second transfer window, Goal can confirm.
The 28-year-old mutually terminated his contract with the Kumasi-based club after falling out with head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.
The former Atletico Madrid youth player joined the Porcupines in May last year, becoming the club’s topscorer with 10 goals in all competitions in the 2017-18 season, including a hat-trick that won them the Ghana FA Cup.
However, he was accused of mutiny against the coach after missing several key games including a 1-0 defeat in the Super Clash against Hearts of Oak on matchday 10.
Aside Sadick, Yakubu Mohammed, Frank Sarfo Gyamfi, Edwin Tuffour Frimpong, Eric Donkor and Seth Opare were also released by Kotoko.
