Ms. Edda Opoku, an Administrator of Cash Point Platform (CPP), which helps the needy and less-privileged in society, has celebrated her birthday with the inmates of the Kumasi Children’s Home.
Ms. Edda and BB, who are co-administrators of the group, fed the inmates and donated food items worth GH¢1,000 to the home to help put smiles on the faces of the inmates.
Some of the items include diapers, second-hand clothes, bags of rice, cooking oil, soft drinks, washing powder and sanitary pads.
Mrs. Beatrice Barnes, a staff at the Children’s Home, who received the items on behalf of the administration, commended Ms. Edda Opoku, BB and the entire group for the kind gesture.
She appealed to other youth and groups to emulate the shining example of Ms Edda to ensure that the inmates are supported all year round, towards becoming responsible citizens.
