Karela United forced Kumasi Asante Kotoko to concede their second straight defeat in the ongoing premiership when the debutants thumped the former champions by 3-1.
A penalty awarded to the home side nearly marred the game as players and technical team of Kotoko protested vehemently, but could not alter the decision of the referee.
Kotoko vowed to break the impressive home record of the Nzema show boys, however, the Red Devils had a shock of their lives by tasting a 3-1 defeat.
It would be recalled that the same Karela side defeated Hearts of Oak by the same score line a fourth night ago.
The Porcupine Warriors came into the game with some changes in the team that lost to Hearts of Oak last weekend.
Back from injury Sadick Adams was handed his first league appearance of the season whilst Kwame Boahene and Jordan Opoku returned to the starting lineup.
