The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kwesimintsim Constituency, Joseph Mensah, last week paid a surprise visit to Aseda Foundation, a foundation set up to offer vocational training free of charge to the youth.
Established some 10 years ago, Aseda Foundation has trained thousands of Ghanaian youth by way of giving them free vocational training.
The visit of the MP, who is popularly known as ‘Joe Mensah’, coincided with a health screening exercise the students were undergoing.
Speaking to the students, MP Joe Mensah advised them to take their vocation training serious and reap the benefits out of what they have chosen.
The students are being trained free of charge in hair dressing, carpentry, and catering among others.
Since the Foundation is located in the constituency of the Kwesimintsim Legislator, he decided to pass by and offer the young ones, particularly the female students, a pep talk.
