I shall fulfill my free SHS promise -Nana Addo

Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has assured all Ghanaians that when voted into power come December 7, he would fulfill his promise to provide free Senior High School (SHS) education to all Ghanaian children.
He has, therefore, called on Ghanaians not to pay attention to statements coming from elements from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) that he was only bragging, and that the provision of free secondary education to Ghanaians was not achievable in this present time.
The NPP flagbearer hinted that because the NDC had no solution to making basic education to the secondary level free for all Ghanaians, they want the whole world to believe that no one else can, stressing the NPP had the men, knowhow, and the capacity to achieve that feat.
According to him, his decision to concentrate first and foremost on education was a result of the fact that any country that wants to succeed must pay special attention to the education of her people.
He also noted that when voted into power, he would ensure that the country went through a massive industrial revolution, which, according to him, would help create more job opportunities for the youth.
Nana Addo continued that another area his government, when voted into power, would focus its attention would be the expansion of the ports in the country to help, not only to create more jobs, but also to generate more income for the country.
He also promised to take a second look at the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), which, according to him, was almost on the verge of collapse under the NDC, and revamp it once again to give hope to Ghanaians as far as health delivery in the country was concerned, as it used to be during the days of the Kufuor administration.
Nana Akufo Addo was addressing teeming supporters of the opposition party at the Tema Manhean lorry park, as part of his campaign tour of the Harbour City, to wrestle power from the Mahama-led NDC in the December 7 general elections.
The NPP flagbearer started his campaign tour of the industrial city of Tema from the Light Industrial area at Community Nine, after which he met market women and traders at the Community Nine market, then continued through Community Eight, and stopped over at Community Seven to address teeming supporters of the party.
From Community Seven, he and his entourage stopped at Tema Community One, Site Two, to hold a meeting with Moslem leaders after which he walked through the main Community One street, in front of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA), to address the crowd that had converged at the Community Five taxi rank.
Nana Akufo Addo also addressed members of Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF) after listening to their grievances, and continued to the Tema Fishing Harbour to address the fishermen and fishmongers before speaking to a massive crowd at the Tema Manhean lorry park.
With him were top NPP officials, ex-ministers of state in the Kufuor administration, and members of the party’s communication team, including the former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Sheik I. C. Quaye, Ishmael Ashitey, former Fisheries Minister, Lord Commey, Abu Jinapor, Titus Clover, MP for Tema East, Ashong Narh, and the party’s parliamentary candidate for Tema East, Kofi Brako, aka KB.
Wherever he went, he was greeted by enthusiastic party supporters clad in party paraphernalia and singing songs in his praise.
