Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko yesterday ended their recent losing streaks in their respective encounters in the Glo Premier League.

Hearts of Oak’s Mohammed Saheed’s late goal against visiting Ashgold, ended the Phobian’s two successive defeats at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Hearts of oak despite being one man down (playing with 10 men) managed to carry the glory of the day.

However, unlike Hearts which ended their recent poor run with a win, Kotoko did not win, but managed a goalless draw game when they travelled to play Karim Zito’s BA Stars at the Coronation Park.

The two sides failed to create goal scoring opportunities, and the few that came their way, they failed to utilise.

On Saturday, King Faisal played spiritedly to hand Heart of Lions a 1-0 defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium.
