“Your unwavering determination to conquer Africa for the fifth time was demonstrated  with this victory over  the Blue Sharks to  stamp your authority over the game and lift high the flag of Ghana”, the Chief Executive of GNPC, Nana Boakye Asafu-Adjaye, said.

“As we join the rest of the country to celebrate this victory, we at GNPC are optimistic that the burning desire to recapture the cup, which has eluded us as a nation for 31 years, will spur the team on to bring the trophy home to Ghana.

“We encourage you to continue the admirable performance you have exhibited so far in the tournament to earn the team a place in the semi finals, and there is no doubt that our gallant stars would make our nation proud”.

“GNPC acknowledges the team’s hard work and we assure you of our continuous support as you advance to higher height in the tournament.
