Ghana U20 to train in Italy & Spain


Ghana’s Black Satellites will step up their preparations for the African Youth Championship with a training programme in Italy and Spain before the start of the competition which comes off in Algeria.

Sellas Tetteh’s side have ready began preparations at the  Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram with 30 local players.

Between 23 and 25 players will travel to Italy in late February for a one week training routine before leaving for Spain.

“I spoke with the coach and he has 25 players in mind for the trip. We will be in Italy in late February and leave later for Spain,” George Afriyie, Black Satellites Management Committee Chairman, told Accra-based Happy FM.
