Funny Face sings to appreciate Adebayor’s benevolence

He is not only the number one comedian of our time, but also the most celebrated. Rocking all the big shows and keeping ribs cracking with jokes and funny stuff. A closer look at his face and teeth would even keep you laughing for hours; no doubt his hard work has paid off.

Tottenham Hotspurs striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, over the weekend, surprised his good friend Funny Face with a customised Black Range Rover in fulfillment of a promise made.

Funny Face, as part of showing appreciation to his friend and the world, wasted no time but quickly rushed to the studios of renowned producer, Mix Master Garzy, to record a new single titled “My Car” with D-Cryme to express how happy he was.

The song has the already known Funny Face unique style of mentioning animal names, and this time around, goes with crocodile.

A twist to how Funny Face won the heart of the Adebayor indicates that the US$80,000 (GH¢160,000) is a surprise birthday gift to the comedian, with other sources revealing that the gift came about after Funny Face’s car failed to start when he attended Adebayor’s Charity Launch

The all black alloy rims Range Rover was shipped to the UK to be customised for Funny Face, before touching the streets of Ghana, after being bought in US and fitted with an LED screen in it with the name Swaggon Papa boldly embroidered in its seats.

The trend continues, as most celebrities are spotted riding in customised number plates cars. Watch out for “Funny Face GH1” on the streets.

Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, known on stage and screens as Funny Face, happens to be one of the happiest men on this planet. It seems the tweet “@Sheyiadebayor …..tanx sooo much bro… U are a blessing …” wasn’t enough.

The excitement expressed in the song indicates how surprised he was upon receiving the gift.
