AshantiGold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo won the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee by-election on Thursday.

Fianoo polled 10 votes representing 62.5 percent of total votes cast ahead of Asante Kotoko’s Kwame Baah-Nuakoh who had 4 votes (25 percent).

The position was made vacant following the death of Asante Kotoko board member Lawyer Owusu-Ansah.
