Few are enjoying life at the expense of majority … Sakara tells Dormaa electorate
The flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party, Dr. Abu Sakara, has bemoaned what he describes as injustice in the system.
According to him, the rate at which a few people in the society today are living at the expense of many is a great worry, which needs to be reversed.
Dr. Sakara was speaking at a rally to formally introduce his running mate to the people of Dormaa in the Brong Ahafo Region.
He urged the people of Dormaa and all Ghanaians to choose a party with a track record of working for the people, come December 7.
This, he said, would help bridge the widening gap between the few rich and the majority poor people in the country.
Dr. Abu Sakara stated that this year’s election is the most crucial one ever held in the country, and that it would be a very big mistake on the part of the Ghanaian electorate to vote for the National Democrat5ic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) again, since they had both failed the country.
On her part, the running mate of the CPP flagbearer, Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah, who hails from Dormaa, urged the people of the area to honour the CPP by voting massively for the party, as the CPP had honoured the Brong Ahafo Region, especially Dormaa, with a vice presidential candidate.
The entire township of Dormaa came to a standstill on Sunday afternoon, as the people gave the CPP presidential and vice presidential candidates, Dr. Abu Sakara and Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah, a rousing welcome on their entry into Dormaa.
