Edward Boateng Urges Business Executives To Exercise Regularly

Award winners of the Happy FM Lakeside Marina fun run,,,,The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Media Alliance (GMA), Edward Boateng has urged his colleague business executives to leave the tight business desks to engage in regular exercises.

This he believes will make them active and strong. It will also enable to reduce stress and improve their health.

Mr. Boateng gave the encouragement when he addressed participants of this year’s Happy FM/Lakeside Marina Family Fun Run held at Ashalley Botwe in Adentan Municipality to mark Ghana’s 56th Independence Day anniversary. Ghana celebrates 6th March every year because the West African country gained independence from its colonial masters, the British on that day in 1957.

The CEO, whose company focused Integrated Media & Entertainment Company with a vision of becoming an industry leader in Africa, also used the occasion to announce the next event of ETV Ghana/Japan Motors Corporate Run which will come off on 21st September, 2013.

Mr. Boateng who owns GMA, Happy FM and part of ETV Ghana therefore appealed to corporate Ghana to participate in the upcoming event.

The Chief Executive Officer of Lakeside Marina Park, Salla Khalemoni said organizing the six kilometres family fun run on Independence Day was the best way to celebrate the day.

The event, which was organized by Happy FM, Accra-based Radio Station and Lakeside Marina Park, aimed at promoting good health among business executives and Ghanaians as whole.

In all, awards were given to distinguished participants. Salla Khalemon was adjudged the Fastest CEO, while Edward Boateng went home went the Third Fastest CEO award.
