The Office of the Life Patron of Sekondi Eleven Wise Football Club wishes to inform the general public and all its stakeholders, including supporters that with immediate effect, it is illegal to use its registered logo and slogan without the express approval of the Chairman of the Club’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) in writing.
It is important, however, to state that Sekondi Eleven Wise Football Club will be organizing and hosting a 3-day Brand Development & Stakeholders’ Strategic Conference early next year to fashion out the future of the Club, as it embarks on its last lap towards the Club’s Centenary Celebrations in 2019, under the distinguished patronage of Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Omanhen of Essikado Traditional Area and Life Patron of the Club.
One of the deliverables of the Conference will be the launching of the Club’s 10-Year Corporate Strategic Plan (2010-2019), which will seek to re-position it as a contemporary Model Club for the nation as well as empower the Club to play its lead role in the community, Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis and the Western Region.
To this end, a 5-member Sekondi Eleven Wise Football Club Brand Committee, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Magnus Rex Danquah, has been formed and charged with the responsibility of delivering the Conference, planning for the Centenary Celebrations of the Club as well as build the Sekondi Eleven Wise FC Brand, amongst other objectives.
The other members include Mr. Wilson Arthur, CEO of Skyy Media Group, Mrs. Demay Alabi, CEO of Enyimnyam Trends Limited, Mr. Anthony Mends, a Financial & Management Consultant and D.D Dwira Jnr. Esq., a Lawyer.
Meanwhile, in view of the fact that a new logo is being developed and registered as a TRADE MARK, the use of the current letterheads of the Club with the existing logo have been suspended, and therefore no legal value should be attached to any document which bears such a logo without a covering letter from the appropriate body.
Again, a number of business opportunities will be made available for the granting of licensing and merchandising rights for all kinds of branded products and services to interested local entrepreneurs, individuals and companies after the unveiling of the new logo, slogan and other registered imageries of the Club as part of the general brand development exercise.
