Coca-Cola Celebrates Ghana’s 56th Independence

The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana (TCCBCG) has presented some 1,957 cases of Schweppes Malt drink to the organizers of this year’s 56^th Independence Day Celebration. Building on a long tradition of refreshing the people of Ghana, TCCBCG sought to refresh school children who partook in the parade during the celebration and also patients in some hospitals throughout the country.

Speaking to the press, the Public Affairs & Communication Director expressed TCCBCG’s satisfaction in actively supporting the celebration this year. “We know how important the Independence Day means to the people of Ghana and we want to be part of this historic celebration,” he said. “What better way to be part of it than to refresh our patriotic citizens?”

According to Isaac, the 1,957 cases which amount to 23,484 bottles of Schweppes Malt drink were given to signify the year of Ghana’s independence and TCCBCG will continue to support the Independence Day Celebrations in the years ahead.

On behalf of the directors and staff of TCCBCG, he congratulated the President and citizens of Ghana on the occasion of Ghana’s 56^th Independence Day Celebrations.
