CLOGSAG members join nationwide strike
Members of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) in the Upper East Region last Thursday, joined their counterparts in a nationwide strike action, following the failure of the government to resolve the issue of the payment of premiums to members of the association.
In a statement signed by the Regional Chairman of CLOGSAG, Mr. Paul A. Agoo, the association was disappointed at the delay, and had therefore, declared a nationwide strike, with effect from Wednesday, October 31, 2012.
Mr. Agoo announced that all offices, both regional and district, had been closed forthwith, until further notice.
