BASS Awards To Take Dance Hall Music …To The Ultimate

Zap Malat (The maiden edition of the BASS Awards, an annual event that seeks to reward Ghanaian and African Reggae and Dancehall Music has been tagged by the organizer the next big musical awards in taking Ghanaian reggae and dance hall music to the ultimate.

At an impressive event held at the Alisa Hotel on Friday, the organizers indicated their preparedness to stage what would for years to come, be an exciting scheme for Reggae and Dancehall talents.

In attendance at the highly successful event were stakeholders from the music industry, as well as some leading Reggae and Dancehall acts like StoneBwoy, Bandana, Trigmatic and Jupita among others

“The BASS Awards has been a work in progress for a while now. The intention is to create the continent’s biggest and foremost Reggae and Dancehall celebration every year,” Kweku Pra of Rackus Productions says.

The very first of its kind, the awards scheme seeks to appreciate and celebrate musicians within the Reggae and Dancehall genre.
