Aspiring assembly member showcases good works

ONE of the candidates who is likely to win the Ekuasi Essaman electoral area district level elections, has pledged to work in unity with the youth, to bring development to the area.

Mr. Kweku Sagoe, who is contesting the electoral area seat for the third time, told The Western File that his priority would be to bring total development to the area, when he is eventually elected as Assembly Member.

Speaking in an interview with the file, Kweku Sagoe took the file round his electoral area, where he showcased some of the developmental strides he had undertaken, as a native of the area.

He said he constructed a footbridge to serve the people of Nketsiakrom, and as well fixed bulbs on street poles there using his own resource.

He has also constructed a fountain to serve the people of the Ekuasi community, and as well offered scholarships to five people in the community.

He said he spends a total of GH500 on the beneficiaries annually.

Kweku Sagoe, who is also known as ‘Stone,’ told this file that he wanted the electorate to vote for him, because he was the best choice, and his good works were known to everyone. “This is my year, and I know, by Gods grace, I will be crowned.”
