Three years ago, Nana Ama Agyeiwaa, Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2010, graduated from the West Africa Senior High School (WASS), where she was the Entertainment Prefect.
Her teachers who knew her as a quiet person were amazed at her spectacular performances during the Ghana Music Awards (GMA) show.
After winning the ultimate prize, Ama deemed it necessary to show gratitude to her teachers.
It was a large gathering at the school hall, where she was received with much joy, and songs sang in her honour to entertain her.
When she took the mic and did some rap music, the students responded by screaming free style, perhaps her favourite catch word.
She later advised the students to take their lessons serious, and show gratitude to their teachers.
She also encouraged them to be hard working and explore their God-given talents.
Ama, in her school days, served in several capacities, including treasurer of the school choir, and financial secretary of the Literary Club.
Ama, who was also the Secretary of the Wildlife Journal, later became the vice president and then girls Entertainment Prefect.
