Akim Swedru hails Akufo-Addo

Residents of the Eastern Region have been praising Nana Akufo-Addo for committing to make education free up to senior high school level.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate is in his home region with the second phase of his hope restoration tour, starting on Monday with Akim Swedru.

Several women and children were seen mobbing the man who has now been nicknamed, “Mr. free education.”

Owusuaa, 36, said “Nana, God bless you for your commitment to provide free education for all. We will vote massively for you so that our children can also go to school.”

Several residents in all the communities Nana Addo visited endorsed the free education policy as they took turns to declare their support for the policy.”

Many young men and women also held placards in support of free education.

At Achiase, Nana Addo told a very charged crowd that “Ghana cannot wait another 20 years to prepare her people for the economic take off. We will educate our people and we will do so now” to which the crowd cheered massively.

On Wednesday, Nana Akufo-Addo will tour the Akim Oda Constituency.
