ADB Wins International Quality Award

Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Ghana’s largest and most successful wholly state-owned bank, last week was conferred with the International Star for Quality in Leadership Award, Gold Category, at the 16th Business Initiative Directors (BID), 2012 International Quality Awards, held in Paris, France.
ADB’s Gold Category award was conferred on the bank for outstanding business achievements, for perseverance and leadership in excellence and quality and also on the basis of meeting the international Leadership in Quality Award (ISLQ) regulations and criteria of the QC 100 Total Quality Management Model.
In presenting the award to ADB, B.I.D recognizes ADB’s commitment and adherence to the seven principles of the QC 100 Total Quality Management Model.
These cover: quality as a consequence of valuing customer satisfaction and obtaining positive business results; meeting the quality levels set by the QC 100 Points of Quality; encouragement of participatory team work in decision making; satisfying the needs of clients and meeting their expectations; providing human resources to achieve maximum potential; and making employees focus on the most profitable areas of activity, to achieve the best business results.
The prestigious B.I.D Global Convention which has over the last 26 years awarded several companies in several award shows hosted in over 100 countries.
On the occasion, B.I.D International Star Awards for Quality 2012, were conferred various companies and organizations from over 57 countries around the world for organizational and business achievements in quality and excellence.
