99Peswas Company Limited, an affiliate Store of Goodseed Travel and Tour Ghana has pledged to bridge the gap in the online business in Africa by building the trust needed to improve online businesses on the continent.
Africa is one of the continents with good opportunities for investment and growing up in the technology bubble, the USA Sales Agent and Co-founder of 99Peswas Company Limited, Solomon Alolga told ItNewsGhana
99Peswas Company Limited which began operations in early 2012 says it poises to provide easy and fast online shopping service for Ghanaians and the rest of Africans without credit card.
“Our aim is to enable Africans shop online for goods that are otherwise not produced in Africa yet essential. We mostly focus on consumer electronics like laptops, cell phones, cameras, TV’s and all sorts of electronic devices,” said Alolga.
Currently, he said online businesses are still young due to the lack of trust and credit card fraud, saying that his company makes the purchase of online products easier for customers and help other clients and customers residing outside Africa to do business in Africa with confidence.
Although, we mainly serve African countries, we ship items to almost all countries in the world.
We provide online shopping of consumer electronic goods with major consumer electronic brands for our consumers in Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria, the Ghanaian Co-founder mentioned.
“We partner with merchant companies, drop shipping companies and individual shoppers outside the country that buy and ship consumer electronic goods like computers, laptops, net books, smart phones, digital cameras, DVD, LCD TVs and scanners to customers in Ghana, Nigeria and most parts of West Africa for low prices than compared to brick and mortar retail stores,” Alolga.
Although their web store is operated in the United States, they have an affiliate office in Ghana that handles payment and deliver of items services for shoppers in Ghana.
They mostly ship items right after completion of payment and it takes about 14 days or less to receive packages sent from the United States.
People interested in shopping on our website can place orders directly on our web store, visiting out office in Accra or by calling our contact numbers to place orders, Alolga explained to ItNewsGhana through an email.
“All cash payment, checks and money transfers are handled in Ghana. Customers the use credit card on our site will have to be verified owners of such cards before items are shipped to them,” Alolga said.
