Four of the passengers who sustained serious injuries were two female students from Edinaman Senior High School and a student each from St.Augustine’s in Bogoso and a Junior High School from Wassa Akropong respectively.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in a telephone interview, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Cephas Edjeani said the accident occurred around 1330hours.
He said the Sprinter bus with registration number (AS 8823-10) was travelling from Accra to Bogoso with 23 passengers on board while a Toyota V8 Sequoia with registration number (GT170-15) was also from Cape Coast going to Accra.
